Gustavo de Lima Ramos
Graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Brasília (UnB), with experience in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, focusing on soybean genetic transformation, obtaining plant-based bioreactors for pharmaceuticals, and proteomics. Holds a master's degree in Agribusiness, where he conducted activities in the competitiveness and sustainability field, especially in subjects related to biofuels, crop-livestock-forest integration, and the use of waste for biodiesel production. Currently, he is part of the Management, Planning, and Infrastructure in Science and Technology career and serves as an advisor to the Secretariat for Technological Development and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (SETEC/MCTI). He works in the field of bioenergy and biofuels, transportation, hydrogen, and sanitation, with over 14 years of experience in sectors related to ethanol, biogas, biomethane, charcoal, and biodiesel production chains, including advanced biomass conversion processes. Additionally, as a doctoral student in the Chemical and Biological Technologies Graduate Program at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of Brasília (UnB), he conducted activities related to the utilization of urban solid waste for biogas, bio-oil, biofertilizer, and biochar production.
