Event will be open to the public and coordinated by an expert in the field

Caxias do Sul/RS – Mercopar – South America’s Industrial Innovation and Subcontracting Trade Fair is known for bringing together under one roof the main innovations for industries such as industrial automation, rubber, electro-electronics, energy and environment, metal-mechanics, materials handling and storage, plastics and industrial services. In this year’s edition, to be held from October 4 to 7 in Caxias do Sul, this information and technology environment will feature yet one more attraction, brought by Mectrol Hiwin Brazil, a traditional exhibitor at the fair, headquartered in the city of Bauru, São Paulo.

The Robotic Automation Workshop will address issues such as high-performance motion control systems, automation systems with Cartesian robots and industrial robots, as well as application cases. The event will be coordinated by Prof. Dr. Edwin Avolio, PhD in robotics. Registration is free by e-mail [email protected] and places are limited. There will be two events with the same focus, on October 5 and 6, from 3 pm to 4 pm, at Espaço Sebrae of Pavilion 2. “Dr. Edwin Avolio will explain the advantages of industrial process automation through robots, a solution with quick return on investment resulting in impeccable quality of the end product”, says Adriano Oliveira, from the Marketing Department of Mectrol.

During Mercopar, Mectrol will use its space to show some of its robots, simulating a production line.
