SEBRAE/RS and SENAI will offer online assessments and saving tips

Caxias do Sul / RS – Power consumption is one of the main costs of the industrial sector, regardless of company size. In Brazil, about 34% of the generated power is consumed by the industry, which has a direct impact on costs, a factor boosted by the recent price increases. Given this situation, Mercopar will pay particular attention to this issue during the fair held October 6-9 in Caxias do Sul, bringing together exhibitors from the fields of industrial automation, rubber, electric and electronic products, energy and the environment, metal-mechanic, material handling and storage, plastic and industrial services.

According to the sustainability solutions state manager of the Innovation and Technology Management at SEBRAE/RS, Cristina Correia, Mercopar will feature a venue where individual advisors will be made available for both exhibitors and visitors. Performance optimization allows reducing power consumption; Thermographic Chamber – Thermography as a preventive method in the industry allows you to detect bad connections or corrosion in electrical contacts; analysis of electrical panels; Detection of bad contacts, faulty relays, and defective fans, detection of problems related to power surges and quality, detection of electrical problems in engines.
